Don MCcullin
Don MCcullin, is a famous British photojournalist, which mainly focuses on the war. He is also famous for his images of urban strife. He was born in October 9th 1935. He was born in North London, but he was evacuated during the war and send to a farm in Somerset during the Blitz. Don MCcullin, was dyslexic, however his work is very creative and shows such skill within his photos. He was a photographer in the RAF, he later bought his own camera, with this camera he took his first photo, this was "The Guvners". Between, 1966 and 1984 he worked and took photos for "The Sunday Times Magazine".

I have chosen this picture because this shows the theme of war very well, as you can see the emotion on the mans face, he is fighting in the war as you can see due the helmet.
This image shows the struggles of the war and the effect on people, this represents the theme of urban strife, I chose this image as it is showing the theme very well.
