Photography (David Bailey).

David Bailey 

David Bailey was born on 2nd January 1938, in Leytonstone, London, England. He is a fashion photographer and has worked with many famous people in his photography career. He mainly takes images in black and white, this is very interesting as this is his own and unique theme about his pictures. This captures my attention when looking at his work. One of David Bailey's  most successful pictures was the photo of London's Gangers, Ronnie and Reggie Kray.

David Bailey had worked for the Vogue magazine in the 1960s. He has worked with very famous fashion icons and many famous celebrities. He didn't just focus on fashion within clothes, he also took photographs using portraiture techniques and facial fashion, for example makeup. He has worked with models such as, Cara Delevingne, KateMoss and Twiggy. I have chosen the two images below as they show a perfect example of David Baileys work with the Vogue magazines. 

  

He uses the black and white effect within his photographs, this image below show this effect really well and is a perfect example of his work, this is why I chose this image. David Bailey has worked with many famous people, such as the Queen and also Johnny Depp. This is evidence showing that he is very good and successful photographer.
