Through my time looking into and walking different music videos, there is one in particular which has caught my eye in more of the creative and visual aspects side. The music video is called "Starboy" by the Weekend. This music video only shoot and presents a few scenes yet they are very effective to the beat, rhythm and the tone of the song. The video has a dark aspect and also appear to encounter colour by one object, the pink cross, this is because the artist always has a significant to the cross meaning this is conveyed and over powered and used within most music video or any images he is captured in. This is a if this were his own trade mark shape.
As the beat is encouraged and brought to more attention within the progression of the song, the cat presented as the beginning turns into a Cheater, this is showing how the beat is getting stronger, which is showing how the cat has growth. The cat is used as a symbol of power towards the artist who is driving a fast car due to wealth.
